The 54th edition of the Engadin Ski Marathon had to be moved first from Maloja to Sils and further to Silvaplana due to large amounts of snow and heat drops. The Upper Engadin Lake could not be groomed with snow groomers due to water on the ice sheets and soft snow. Philipp Schmidli
