Katusha Team begins the season of 2012, its fourth season in World Tour, with absolutely new bicycles from worldwide known company “Canyon”.
There are two models of bikes, special designed for the riders of Katusha Team: AEROAD CF and ULTIMATE CF SLX. Every model has its own characteristics and is excellent for this or that cycling specialization.
AEROAD CF is the bicycle with improved aerodynamics, which is best for classic races (including cobblestone races) and for mountain stages. This bike is excellent for offensive and aggressive riders, who love to attack and to breakaway.
ULTIMATE CF SLX is more stiff and agile, designed particularly for sprinters and lightweight climbers too.
“Canyon” bikes have the last generation materials, the product of high technologies. The company preaches the implementation of the newest technological and innovative decisions, which allows creating extra-class bikes.
New “Canyon” bikes were already tested by Team Katusha’s mechanics and riders. They were both absolutely satisfied about tests and trainings, which were held on.
Besides of the bikes and accessories, in 2012 “Canyon” company will provide to Katusha Team many-sides technical support, will be in the constant contact with the mechanics, riders, administration of the team at any moment to give all necessary help, during training process and races.
“Canyon” will provide the bicycles not only for Katusha Team, but for other teams of Russian Global Cycling Project too. It means that UCI Continental team Itera-Katusha as well as Under23 and Under 21 teams will be completely covered by “Canyon” technology.

NEW DESIGN OF THE OFFICIAL JERSEY
World Tour Katusha Team in 2012 will wear absolutely new designed cycling uniform. At new jerseys of 2012 red and white colors will dominate, while the general design will be changed a lot.

As in last three seasons, all cycling uniform were produced by worldwide famous company Santini.
KATUSHA TEAM CHANGES TO CARS SKODA
Skoda Cars Germany, a worldwide famous company, is the new car sponsor of World Tour Katusha Team as of today, 1st January 2012.
The long-term-partnership with Katusha’s head administration fastened up the cars brand decision to move forward in their world wide cycling sponsorship strategy. The photo of new Katusha’s car can be seen at the attached photo.

The car manufacturer will deliver mainly Octavia Combi, but as well their state-of-the-art premium brand Superb Combi.
So their claim “Skoda – engine of cycling” will get a strong Russian enhancement in the future through the partnership with Katusha – Russian Global Cycling Project.
