Prima vittoria del tricolore Visconti: “Oggi sentivo di poter far bene. E ora punto all’Eroica, primo mio obiettivo di stagione”.
INSUBRICA (SVI) – Colpo da artista di Giovanni Visconti al Gp Insubrica, nella due giorni svizzera dove il tricolore ha lasciato il segno vincendo con grande autorevolezza l’edizione 2011 della prima “tappa”: “Sono felice, si vede che il lavoro fatto in Qatar e Oman è servito. Nonostante il balzo di temperatura (dai 28-30 dell’emirato agli 8-10 di Insubria, n.d.r.) mi sentivo bene e ho finalizzato il gioco di squadra fatto per tenermi davanti. D’altronde il finale era perfetto per le mie caratteristiche (…)”.
Raggiante e fiducioso, Visconti aggiunge: “Devo ammettere che questa vittoria arriva nel momento più giusto, perchè mi da morale in vista delle corse RCS che sono il mio primo grande obiettivo della stagione. Ma se c’è una dedica che devo fare, oltre alla mia famiglia, che mi è mancata tan to nel 22 giorni all’estero, la devo alla squadra, tutta. Siamo davvero un gruppo fantastico e se vinciamo è proprio perchè siamo uniti. Il lavoro di Luca (Scinto, n.d.r.) nei due ritiri stagionali si sta facendo sentire (…) Speriamo di continuare così e di toglierci altre soddisfazioni”. Obiettivi, appunto: Visconti parteciperà domani al Gp Lugano e tirerà poi dritto alle classiche organizzate da RCS Sport: “Tra una settimana esatta c’è l’Eroica, poi Tirreno e Sanremo. Non mi posso più nascondere: devo e voglio dare un segnale importante in quelle corse”. Intanto oggi è arrivata la prima vittoria, conquistata davanti a Jure Kocian (Team Type 1) e Rinaldo Nocentini, terzo (Ag2r).

VISCONTI WON HIS FIRST RACE 2011, THE GP INSUBRICA.
First success of tricolor Visconti: “Today I felt good. Now I want to go well in Eorica, my first big goal of the season”.
INSUBRICA (SVI) – First success of Giovanni Visconti in this season in Insubrica, in the first race of the switzerland week-end of races: “I’m happy, for sure the work that I have done in Qatar and Oman is good. Despite the change in temperature (from 28-30 of Qatar to 8-10 of insubria, n.d.r.) I felt good and i was able to finalize the work of the team, who wanted to put me in the first positions in the final kilometres. Moreover the final part of the circuit was perfect for my features”. Happy for this result, Visconti added – “This victory arrived in the best moment, because it give me trust for the next steps, since next week will start the month of RCS classics. And that are my real big goals of the season. If I have to dedicate this success, together with my family, who missed me during the 22 days in Qatar and Oman, is for the team, all. We are a wonderful group, and if we have won many races, is for this. The work of Scinto is gone out in this first part of the season. Now we hope to continue in this way”. Goals, infact: Visconti tomorrow will race the Lugano’s cup, and then he will go directly to the first RCS Classic: “Next saturday will be Eroica’s day. I want to do something good, there, in Tirreno Adriatico and Milan – Sanremo. I can’t hide me, but I don’t want to do promises. I’ll see during the races” In the meantime today is arrived his first success of 2011, in front of Jure Kocian (Team Type 1), second and Rinaldo Nocentini (Ag2r) third.
